Important Travel Information
When planning your Port Douglas holiday, it’s important to allow up to 1.5 hours travel time from Cairns. Due to ongoing road upgrades along the Captain Cook Highway, there are controlled traffic light stops along the way.
While these brief pauses may extend the journey, they often provide the perfect opportunity to admire the scenery or capture a quick photo of the stunning coastline.
Please allow extra travel time if you have scheduled activities or bookings. If you’re unsure about travel times, feel free to contact us for advice.
